The Music Man John Petrucci JP15 7 String Electric Guitar is one of the signature guitars from the Dream Theater founding member. The JP15 features outstanding custom electronics and are crafted from premium tonewoods to provide the best sound for your performances; and you would expect no less from Petrucci the King of Guitars. The JP15 is equipped with two DMT Illuminator Humbuckers which are incredibly versatile pickups one of which is a piezo bridge pickup that offers those harmonic acoustic sounds for something a little different to the face melters. Crafted with an African mahogany body and a flame maple top the tonewoods work together to create a full warm sound with the maple providing excellent note definition. The guitar features 7 strings as used famously by Petrucci himself which provides a huge low end and allows heavier riffing. The JP15s stunning flame maple top is finished with a teal burst making it a beautiful and eye-catching piece.
