Yamaha Custom YCL-CSVR Bb Clarinet

The Yamaha Custom YCL-CSVR Bb Clarinet has undergone some important improvements to enhance the instruments freedom of expression providing a rich expressive tone throughout its entire range. Thicker key plating enhances this rich expression during louder play while durable leather pads are used for their rich tonal quality. Yamaha has included a traditional 65mm barrel shape so that players can perform with a well-balanced response and improved resistance. The barrel includes a new R logo. To improve the playability and comfort of the design Yamaha has lengthened the C# and G# keys by 2mm. Without a scallop chamber the traditional bell shape is capable of achieving a focused core with much more presence. The adjustable thumb rest is now appropriate for a wider range of hand sizes and with the addition of a strap ring players can also distribute the weight of the instrument for a more comfortable playing experience. The YCL-CSVR comes equipped with a CL4CM mouthpiece so that players can start to play as soon as the clarinet arrives.
